About Silverthorn Farm
Nate and Emily Parks started farming in Darlington, Indiana in 2006 and later moved to a plot of family land in Rossville. What began as a small planting of pumpkins and melons has now grown to over 200 varieties of vegetables on 25 acres. In addition to raising vegetables, they began raising pastured pork, grassfed beef and eggs creating a healthy cycle that nurtures the land.

The farm originally got its start in 1864 by William Silverthorn, Emily’s great, great, great grandfather. Today, Nate and Emily keep the family tradition alive and are raising their three kids on the farm.
