Silverthorn Farm’s Night and Daytime formulated CBD oils are from whole plant infused USDA certified organic hemp plants. Our oils include many beneficial plant compounds including phytocannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. These oils differ from our extract as the certified organic hemp plant cannabinoids and terpenes are infused directly into the organic MCT oil, rather than being extracted and reintroduced into a tincture. The whole hemp flower is brought to your juice, smoothie, or dropper with as little processing as possible.
Hemp flower extraction using solvents can be likened to the dried powder form of a protein shake. Very effective when done properly but may not have all the benefits of the fresh product like a garden fresh smoothie.

How to Use
Each person will have a different response to our small batch tinctures. That’s because your body’s response to CBD dosage is bell-curved. Too little and you won’t feel anything; too much and it’ll dampen the impact. It’s all about finding the right dose for you and your particular body.
Choosing the right potency
When deciding how much to take, we recommend starting with 1 ML a day, (20mg dose for general well being, 40mg dose for anxiety and pain management) working up to 3 times a day if needed. If you work up to 1 ML, 3 times a day and do not feel relief you may need a stronger concentration.
- Shake well before using because some separation may occur.
- Fill the dropper to desired amount
- Administer oil
- To absorb the most CBD, drop directly under your tongue, hold for 15-30 seconds and then swallow
Note: If you do not like the taste, add to your favorite beverage or snack. Because the CBD will travel through your digestive system, you will not absorb as much CBD this way.
When to take:
Consistency is key for effective results. Set a schedule to help you get in a routine of using your cbd product regularly. Taken at the beginning of the day can help alleviate anxiety, or regularly throughout the day for pain management. Taken an hour or so before bed can help with sleep.
